The 7.62x39 cartridge is a top pick for younger shooters for its low recoil and effectiveness on medium-sized game such as deer or wild boar out to 200 yards. The 527 features a Turkish walnut carbine-style stock and has a 13.46" LOP. It has fixed sights with an integrated 16mm scope base.
