If you have a stout 45 Colt revolver (see below), these are the perfect rounds for your back country carry needs. Featuring the proven Hornady FTX bullet, these rounds are suited for personal protection and hunting thin skinned game. Each round is carefully hand loaded from quality components, delivering high performance and reliability.
IMPORTANT:
This full-power ammo is designed specifically for large frame Ruger revolvers (i.e. Redhawk and Blackhawk) or Thompson Contender/Encore firearms chambered in 45 Colt. The rounds use "magnum" pressure levels and longer overall cartridge length to maximize power, so they will not work safely in other firearms (including lever guns). If you are not sure whether or not your firearm can accept high pressure loads, we recommend staying with "standard" pressure 45 Colt ammo and not using these loads.
Do not use these rounds in Colt SAA replicas or 1892-style leverguns, since high pressure loads may damage the firearm and cause severe injury.
