The barrel is machined from 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel and treated with a QPQ corrosion-resistant finish to help protect against wear, handling, and exposure. A rifled bore and 1:7 twist are designed to support consistent projectile stabilization across a range of suitable .300 Blackout ammunition. The Nickel Boron-coated M4 feed ramp extension promotes smooth cartridge feeding, while the barrel is high-pressure tested and magnetic particle inspected to support Ballistic Advantage quality standards.
The BA Hanson pistol-length barrel is intended for compatible AR-15 platforms and is not designed for use with aftermarket piston conversion kits.
