The Lee 90046 Lube and Size Kit provides a practical solution for lubricating and sizing cast bullets during reloading. Designed for use with single-stage presses, this kit helps prepare cast bullets for consistent loading performance and can also seat and crimp gas checks. The sizer die uses standard 7/8-inch-14 threads for compatibility with suitable single-stage press setups.
The Lee sizing system pushes bullets through the die nose first, eliminating the need for specialized nose punches. A push-through punch is used in place of a shell holder in the press ram, while the sized bullets are collected in the included container. This design supports efficient bullet sizing while helping protect bullet noses and maintain a uniform finished profile.
This kit includes the sizer box, sizer punch, sizer die, and instructions. It is intended for .356-inch cast bullet applications; Lee recommends selecting a sizing kit approximately .001 inch larger than the bullet’s groove diameter. The steel components feature a silver finish for durability in regular reloading use. Lee Liquid Alox and the compatible single-stage press are sold separately.
