Lee 91878 Breech Lock 3-Die Set for .38 Special and .357 Magnum, Carbide

The Lee 91878 Breech Lock 3-Die Set is designed for reloading .38 Special cartridges and can also be used for .357 Magnum and .357 Maximum applications with the appropriate die adjustments. This set includes colored Smart Lock bushings that make die identification quick and convenient, helping streamline setup and caliber organization on compatible Breech Lock reloading equipment. The carbide construction of the sizing die allows convenient case sizing without requiring case lubrication under normal use.
The three-die configuration includes a Carbide Full Length Sizing Die, Powder Thru Expanding Die, and Bullet Seating and Crimping Die. The sizing die restores cartridge cases to the correct form, while the expanding die prepares the case mouth for bullet seating and allows powder to be charged through the die when used with compatible equipment. The seating and crimping die helps position the bullet and apply the appropriate crimp according to the selected load and setup.
In addition to the dies and colored Smart Lock bushings, the Lee 91878 set includes a Universal Shell Holder, Powder Dipper, and instructions with load data. The .38 Special setup may be adapted for .357 Magnum by backing out the Powder Thru Expander Die and Bullet Seating and Crimping Die approximately two turns to compensate for the longer case.
