The RCBS 12501 Full-Length Die Set is designed for reloading bottleneck cases in the 257 Roberts caliber. This two-die set includes a Full-Length Sizer Die with an Expander-Decapping Unit and a Seater Die with a Bullet Seater Plug. Together, the dies provide the essential sizing, depriming, neck expansion, bullet seating, and crimping functions needed for consistent cartridge preparation.
The Full-Length Sizer Die returns cases to SAAMI minimum cartridge dimensions while sizing the outside of the case, removing the spent primer, and expanding the neck to accept a new bullet. Built-in vents help reduce the risk of case damage from trapped air or excess case lubricant. The die is engineered to maintain headspace within minimum tolerances, helping prevent unwanted changes to case body length during full-length sizing.
