The RCBS 24001 Standard 2-Die Set is designed for reloading bottleneck rifle cases with consistent sizing, priming preparation, bullet seating, and crimping performance. This set includes a Full-Length Sizer Die with an Expander-Decapping Unit and a Seater Die with a Bullet Seater Plug, providing the essential components needed for a streamlined reloading setup. The full-length sizing process returns cases to SAAMI minimum cartridge dimensions for reliable chambering in properly specified firearms.
The Full-Length Sizer Die sizes the outside of the case, removes the spent primer, and expands the case neck to accept a new bullet. Built-in vents help reduce the risk of case damage caused by trapped air or excessive lubricant during sizing. The die is manufactured to hold headspace within minimum tolerances, helping minimize changes to the case body length during full-length resizing.
