Sierra BlitzKing bullets are engineered for varmint and small-game applications where explosive expansion and precise shot placement are important. Part number 1507 features a 70-grain spitzer boat tail design in .243-inch diameter, also identified as 6mm. The streamlined profile and boat tail configuration support the accuracy associated with Sierra MatchKing-style bullets while the thin copper jacket promotes rapid, explosive expansion on suitable targets.
The BlitzKing polymer tip is made from Sierra’s proprietary compound and is designed to initiate expansion on impact. Each bullet uses a lead core with a copper jacket and does not include a cannelure, making it well suited for reloaders developing loads for compatible .243 Winchester and other 6mm cartridges. The .169 sectional density provides useful reference data for bullet selection and load development.
Sierra 1507 bullets are intended for handloading and come packaged as 100 projectiles per box. The lightest 6mm BlitzKing bullets can be fired at muzzle velocities up to 4,000 feet per second when used with appropriate loads and firearms.
