The Sig Sauer Electro-Optics ROMEO-RS SOR02130 is a compact red dot sight engineered to provide the speed, accuracy, and convenience of a pistol-mounted optic at a value that competes with premium iron sights. Its reinforced steel chassis supports and protects a premium aspherical glass lens, while the surrounding high-strength polymer housing helps maintain a lightweight, durable profile suitable for modern striker-fired pistols and other compatible platforms.
The updated footprint is designed to maintain compatibility with industry-standard optics cuts while incorporating steel recoil pins for additional lock-up strength. This reinforced interface helps reduce the potential for lateral optic shift during use. A side-mounted illumination adjustment button is recessed into the polymer housing to help prevent accidental activation or interference, and the side-load battery tray allows the CR1632 battery to be replaced without removing the optic from the firearm.
The ROMEO-RS also features MOTAC, Sig Sauer’s motion-activated illumination system. The red dot powers on when motion is detected and automatically shuts down when inactive, helping conserve battery life while keeping the sight ready when needed. With 1x magnification, a 3 MOA red dot, and SpectraCoat optic coating, the SOR02130 delivers a clear aiming reference for rapid target acquisition at close and intermediate distances.
