The Lee 90048 Lube & Size Kit is designed for lubricating and sizing cast bullets during reloading. This kit helps reloaders produce consistent bullet diameters and can also seat and crimp gas checks. It is intended for use with single-stage presses and features a standard 7/8"-14 threaded sizer die for compatibility with many traditional reloading press setups.
Bullets are pushed through the sizing die nose first, eliminating the need for special nose punches. The included push-through punch is used in place of a shell holder in the press ram, while a dedicated container captures the sized bullets as they pass through the die. This design provides a straightforward, efficient process for preparing cast bullets for loading.
The Lee sizer kit is intended for .358-diameter cast bullets. For proper sizing, Lee recommends selecting a sizing kit approximately .001" larger than the bullet's groove diameter. The kit includes the sizer box, sizer punch, sizer die, and instructions. Made from durable steel with a silver finish, it is built for dependable use in a reloading workspace. Lee Liquid Alox and the reloading press are sold separately.
