The Lee 90060 Lube & Size Kit provides a practical solution for lubricating and sizing cast bullets during reloading. Designed for use with single stage presses, this kit features a steel sizer die with standard 7/8 x 14 threads for compatibility with many commonly used reloading presses. The .401 caliber sizing configuration is intended for cast bullets that require consistent diameter and proper preparation before loading.
Bullets are pushed through the sizing die nose first, eliminating the need for special nose punches. The included push-through punch takes the place of a shell holder in the press ram, while the sizing operation captures finished bullets in the included container. The kit can also seat and crimp gas checks, helping streamline multiple cast-bullet preparation tasks with one setup. For best results, Lee recommends selecting a sizing kit that is .001 inch larger than the bullet’s groove diameter.
