Illumination controls are positioned on top of the optic for convenient access with either hand while helping keep the controls clear of chest rigs and plate carriers when the firearm is slung. A dedicated night vision override switch allows quick transitions when moving between bright and low-light environments. MOTAC motion-activated illumination helps conserve power by activating the sight when movement is detected and shutting it down when idle.
