The SIG Sauer Electro-Optics ROMEO8T SOR81003 is a durable, full-size red dot sight designed for modern sporting rifles and shotguns. Its 1x magnification, unlimited field of view, and unlimited eye relief support rapid target acquisition from virtually any shooting position. The 2 MOA red dot and 65 MOA circle provide a versatile aiming solution, while the integrated multi-reticle system allows users to select from four options: dot, circle-dot, dot with holds, or circle-dot with holds.
The ROMEO8T uses an ultra-efficient red LED for bright daylight visibility and extended battery life. A readily available CR123A battery powers the optic for more than 100,000 hours, and the side-loading battery compartment allows quick replacement without removing the sight. MOTAC motion-activated illumination conserves battery power by powering the optic down when stationary and activating it when movement is detected. SpectraCoat lens coatings help provide a clear sight picture in changing conditions.
Built for demanding use, the ROMEO8T includes a removable titanium shroud that helps protect the optic from drops, bumps, and field impacts. The sight is IPX-8 waterproof and fog-proof, with adjustable windage and elevation and 0.50 MOA adjustment increments for precise zeroing. The included 1/2 hex bolt mount positions the optic at a 1.535-inch height and supports straightforward installation on compatible platforms. Finished in Flat Dark Earth, the SIG Sauer ROMEO8T combines rugged construction, flexible reticle options, and dependable performance for close-quarters and general-purpose applications.
