The Warne Maxima base system features a full-width recoil slot in each base. This design gives the recoil control keys on compatible Warne rings a broad bearing surface, helping provide dependable engagement under recoil. The bases mount to the receiver with 6-48 screws and are intended for rifles including the Browning BAR, BAR II, Mark II, and BPR; Winchester SXR; Benelli R1 and Argo; Sauer SHR Pro Hunter; Maral; and select Savage 40 and 45 models.
